Mitel Networks provide platforms that straddle both TDM and Voice over IP (VOIP) worlds. Customers with SX2000 PBX systems now considering upgrading to Mitel 3300 IP platforms and the acquisition of Inter-tel has brought that PBX into the Mitel stable as well.  Magnetic North provide penalty free migration to support SX 2000 customer to migrate their Optimise recording systems to the new IP platforms, whilst Inter-tel customers also benefit from broad platform support.

                                                            

How does Optimise integrate with Mitel / Inter-tel?

Optimise integrates tightly to Mitel SX 2000 PBX and Mitel 3300 IP communications platforms as well as Inter-tel PBX systems to provide all call recording and quality monitoring as required by our customers. We support call recording using E1 passive tap and VOIP capture to decode and record calls.

     Mitel SX 2000 with MiTSP Server edition TAPI Server
        CTI Integration (SX-2000 needs to have an Application
        Services Unit (ApSU) installed)
     Mitel 3300 IP with MiTSP Server edition TAPI Server
        CTI Integration
     Inter-tel Axxess PBX with OAI CTI Interface enabled and
        E1 passive tap or SIP VOIP recording
     Inter-tel 7000 SIP PBx with SIP interface for call recording

VOIP recording is achieved using either network mirror ports on data routers to provide us with a copy of the SIP traffic to record, or we recommend and encourage customers to use specialist network tap units which provide a more scalable solution and have less impact on the overall network  and its management.

How does Maximise integrate with Mitel / Inter-tel?

Maximise has been integrated for many years with traditional SX2000 systems using E1 links but can also be integrated using SIP voice connections to the 3300 IP Platform as well as to the Inter-tel platforms using SIP as well.
