Applications Support

As an applications Consultant at Magnetic North you will be responsible for all aspects of the solution installation process. Working as the project technical lead you will have to install the solution, train the customer and perform hand holding of the Magnetic North Software project.
Therefore you will have responsibility for the pre-installation process to ensure the customer environment is correctly configured prior to the installation commencing. This includes confirming the correct hardware is ordered, liaising with 3rd party suppliers, working with the project manager and conducting on site surveys. You must maintain excellent communication with the partner and end user. You will deliver the installation in accordance with the Magnetic North procedures to our ‘Right First Time’ approach.
You will own and drive the handover process to ensure the user continues to receive excellent support when the installation is completed and handed over to the support department. You may be required to undertake the maintenance of technical product literature. This includes troubleshooting guides, installation instructions and for the maintenance of the FAQ’s and Knowledge Base used internally and by customers. You may be asked to undertake product training, both in house and at customer sites, which will be carried out according to Magnetic North guidelines and from time to time you may also be asked to get involved with project work either internally or at a customer site.

IT Support Technician
Key Skills - IT Support of servers and Desktops and Applications thereon, including Email, Back up and CRM Applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Desktop support on Windows XP and Vista and Server side on Windows 2000 and 2003 and will be involved in the support of both software and hardware issues. You will need to have some knowledge of software and hardware support in your existing role. You will be currently be doing 1st and 2nd line support in a medium but complex organisation, you will also have experience of supporting users. It would be desirable if you are familiar with DNS and TCP/IP in an active directory environment.

 

US Application Engineer
We are now hiring for an Application Engineer to be embedded on site at a strategic outsouring customer from their Richardson, Texas hub with call centers throughout the US, Canada and the globe working  on our Optimise voice recording and Maximise dialler solutions.
 
Responsible for diagnosing and resolving customer support enquires using web based support tools and your deep experience of technologies such as Windows 2003, SQL Server, Media Streaming and ASP.Net Web applications, you will be working on this multinational customer requirements and with our other customers too.
 
You will enjoy working with customers every single day and being an ambassador for the company, and will ideally have experience in voice recording or call center technologies
 
This is a dynamic role for which no two days are the same, and one where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference. The role is based in Richardson Texas, but you will have the opportunity from time to time to travel to other customer locations and abroad.

    visits and
